Main advantage of capillary thermostats and thermal cutouts is the possibility to place sensor to different position than thermo- stat body. Wide range of use includes e.g. boilers, electric ovens, oil radiators, etc.

The RT 8824 is a two-pole capillary temperature controller based on the principle of liquid dilation. The RT 8824 consists of two basic parts: a switching unit and a capillary temperature sensor. There is a protective ground pin on the housing. The user can set the regulated temperature within the control range. The RT 8824 is mounted with two M4 screws.
