Stem thermostats exceed in reliability and high robustness that prede- termines they for difficult applications as temperature regulation in oil baths, diesel engines exhaust gases or moulds for rubber.

Bimetallic thermostats are used mainly for temperature regulation of passenger cars cooling, but also for other purposes where high reliability and small dimensions are required.

Thermostats with valve are intended for control of solid fuel combustion in boilers, stoves, fireplaces, and fire- place inserts. Thermostatic regulation leads to higher comfort as well as cheaper and greener operation.
