Central reading system AMR 40

Description

The AMR 40 central reading system is used for wireless reading of data transmitted by E-ITN 40, E-ITN 30, E-RM 30 measuring devices and devices transmitting according to the Wireless M-Bus OMS standard, which transmit in the T1 and C1 protocol.

Composition of the system

The AMR 40 readout network consists of a main unit Gate and several collection units Repeaters.

Gate

The Gate is the control element of the system that coordinates the collection of data from Repeaters and measuring devices. This unit ensures that all collected data is correctly processed and then securely sent to cloud storage. The transfer of data to the Cloud storage is done over a secure connection, which ensures that the information is protected from unauthorized access. The unit requires an internet connection (GSM modem) and connection to the power grid. When installing the system in smaller buildings, only the Gate unit can form the readout network.

Repeater

Repeater collection units are installed in places where it is necessary to extend the meter reading network. Repeaters receive data from measuring devices and forward it to the Gate unit. The Repeater units are battery powered and can easily be placed in any location that meets good radio conditions. The use of Repeaters is optional, and is used to extend the readout network.

Advantages of the system

Due to upcoming legislation requiring end-users to be informed of their consumption on a monthly basis, the complexity and cost of meter reading is increasing. The central meter reading system requires minimal user intervention and has a user-friendly inreface where all measured data is available and can be easily downloaded and provided to end users. The inreface can be accessed online via a web browser making it accessible from anywhere at any time.
